Creating a Journey of Dignity for Men with Prostate Cancer and Prostate Health
A place where men are heard, supported, and never made to feel alone. We exist to bring dignity, clarity, and compassion to every man navigating prostate health or prostate cancer.
"Your Journey, Your Dignity, Our Support"
Empowering Men with Prostate Cancer and Prostate Health.
At DIGNITY FOR MEN™, our aim is to create meaningful change in how men experience prostate health. We work to raise awareness of PSA testing for men over 45, highlighting that early detection begins with a simple blood test. We advocate for better access to more effective treatments, including the availability of HIFU and focal therapy through the NHS.
We are campaigning for legislative change to ensure sanitary bins are provided in all facilities, regardless of gender — a basic but essential measure of dignity and inclusion. We are committed to improving understanding of the real impact of prostate health and prostate cancer, including the physical and emotional trauma many men experience during biopsies, while ensuring men are informed of all available options at every stage.
Through education, advocacy, and fundraising, DIGNITY FOR MEN™ supports, empowers, and stands alongside men navigating prostate health — always placing dignity at the heart of everything we do.

How can I Help?
My Own Journey
Just over 10 months ago, at the age of 59, I was diagnosed with prostate cancer, something I had no idea I had until a men's healthcare wellness check revealed a high PSA level. (PSA? More on that later!) Since that first test, it's been a rollercoaster of emotions, conflicting advice, uncertainty, and tough decisions — a journey that is very much still ongoing.

Help Us Change the Law to Protect Men's Dignity
We've launched a petition calling for a simple but vital change: making sanitary bins a legal requirement in all public and commercial toilets, regardless of gender. Right now, the law only mandates them in female or mixed-gender toilets—leaving many men living with prostate cancer without a safe and dignified way to manage their needs. This lack of provision can be humiliating and isolating, and it affects OUR fathers, brothers, uncles, friends, and colleagues across the country every day. With 100,000 signatures, Parliament must debate this issue—help us improve dignity, hygiene, and equality for men by signing the petition today
Objectives Of The Organisation

First
Promote to men over 45 to start an alternative self screening program and create a record for themselves to start monitoring their PSA Level early. There is no National screening program available.
Don't be the one to say:
I WISH I HAD THE TEST EARLIER
Be the one that says
I HAD THE TEST EARLIER

Second
To raise awareness of alternative treatments such as Focal Therapy or HIFU which are far less invasive if the cancer is caught early enough.
These treatments are available through the NHS but are not proactively offered, meaning many men remain unaware of them unless they actively seek the information.

Fourth
To increase awareness of the serious and life-changing consequences many men face during and after prostate health and prostate cancer treatment; from erectile dysfunction and incontinence to bowel issues, loss of self-esteem, isolation, loneliness, and depression.

Fifth
To Highlight the realities of the impact to men of Prostate Biopsies when conducted under local anesthetic.
It is medically recognised as one of the most invasive and challenging biopsies, and can be highly traumatic both during and after the procedure.

Sixth
To establish local DIGNITY FOR MEN™ hubs in villages, towns, and cities, offering supportive environments for open conversations about prostate health and prostate cancer.
These local spaces will empower men to be openly honest, share experiences, and build collective support.
Our first DIGNITY FOR MEN™ hub can be found in Kent
Every Last Monday of the month - Commencing March.
Venue to be arranged.

Seventh
To raise the funds that allow this work to exist and grow. Every donation helps us reach men who may otherwise be left unsupported — through awareness campaigns, advocacy, and clear, compassionate information. Your support enables us to build trusted networks with providers and businesses, and to protect dignity in the most practical ways — including ensuring sanitary bins are available in all toilet facilities, regardless of gender.
